VCA was honored to be appointed to the Anaheim Regulatory Relief Task Force. This month the effort resulted in a formal report, which eases the regulatory burden of developers in the city. According to the official BIA/OC announcement, “[We have] been successful in getting our recommendations for regulatory relief approved by the Anaheim City Council.

BIA/OC served on the Mayor Tom Tait’s Regulatory Relief Task Force over the course of 2011. As a member of the task force, BIA advocated several recommendations for development impact fee reductions, removing the fee premium for the Platinum Triangle, development process streamlining, and reductions in the cost to process development projects. On Tuesday (Dec. 6), the City Council unanimously approved the recommendations.”
