Tanner Leitzinger
Principal, VCA Denver


Mr. Leitzinger has more than 25 years of experience in structural design, management, material supply and construction. He has been involved in both commercial and residential projects including large scale mid- and high-rise buildings, mixed-use multifamily, hospitals, parking structures, affordable housing, senior housing and single-family projects. His previous background owning a design build post-tension manufacturing facility in Denver has connected him with all the top tier contractors and subcontractors in the region. 

Mr. Leitzinger has established a great reputation by directing the design of the most complicated concrete projects in the Denver office portfolio. He also has valuable experience as a General Contractor that elevates his understanding of the means and methods of commercial and residential construction. This knowledge along with his strong attention to detail and organizational skills makes him an integral part of the team and the company’s growth and success. 

Mr. Leitzinger has been the Director of the Denver BIM department from inception, and along with his team has developed advanced 3D modeling systems and techniques to exceed industry standards while maintaining quality assurance and meeting project deadlines.

As Principal and Director of Project Development of the Denver office, Tanner is involved in all aspects of our projects from the beginning of schematic design through the construction administration process. Mr. Leitzinger also assists with marketing efforts, business development and client relations.  

Mr. Leitzinger has an AAS degree in Applied Science – Architectural/Structural Design from Denver Technical College.
