Mr. Lin has more than 20 years of structural engineering experience which encompasses numerous project types including infrastructure assessment & seismic retrofits, single & multi-family residential with a specialization in large scale mixed-use residential structural design.

As a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California, Mr. Lin has extensive experience in structural design of concrete, steel and wood structures. He has successfully managed the design and overseen construction of mixed-use residential projects that include both Type V and III construction over multi-level podiums above or below grade. Mr. Lin has an exceptional reputation within the residential and industrial development community.

Mr. Lin spent the first 10 years of his VCA career as a Field Engineer, working closely with architects, developers and contractors.  He treats each client’s project with focused care and attention to detail. As an Associate Principal, he has a proven track record with major developers, paying attention to market conditions, which gives him the knowledge and ability to provide the most cost-effective structural solutions to serve the client’s best interests.

Mr. Lin received both his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Structural Engineering from California State University, Long Beach and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
