Greg Ziehl, S.E.
Associate Principal


Mr. Ziehl is a licensed Structural Engineer with 15 years of structural engineering and management experience that includes infrastructure improvement, bridges, healthcare, commercial, hospitality, retail, parking, residential and mixed use.

At VCA, Mr. Ziehl leads a team of engineers that specializes in complex mid- and high-rise mixed use residential, hospitality and senior living construction. Since joining VCA in 2012, Mr. Ziehl has overseen the structural engineering and construction of more than 100 residential projects across the western United States resulting in more than 25,000 units. Through this extensive project experience, Mr. Ziehl has developed an exceptional reputation amongst the architectural and development community.

As an Associate Principal at VCA, Mr. Ziehl is a member of the Executive Committee, Technical Committee and leads the Operation Committee. Mr. Ziehl works closely with the Director of Building Information Modeling to align structural engineering and building modeling practices across the firm.

Mr. Ziehl graduated from the University of California, Berkeley’s College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
